Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, my love for fashion developed at an exceptionally young age, when I would plead with my mom to make sure that all of my accessories coordinated adequately with each one of my outfits. Raised by an amazing and strong-minded single mother, I made a promise to myself to, at all times, uphold the self-confidence and ambition my mom instilled in me throughout my entire life.

While in school to pursue my nursing degree, I realized that my love for all things fashion related was much more apparent than I had ever envisioned it to be. I am a woman who acknowledges new fashion trends but I do not allow these "trends" to define my personal style. I define my own style. I wear what I like and what I think fits me and everyone should really do the same." I understood that this timeless adoration, which initiated from my childhood, went way beyond assisting my mom, sisters, and best friend with daily outfits to an infatuation that I seek to acquire as a profession. Taught by my late father to spend my time and money wisely, I was able to develop a solid sense of liberation and a dire longing to become successful in all that I do. I would define my personal style as classy, chic, ladylike, and sophisticated all mixed together. After being genuinely inspired by the people closet to me, I set my sights on following my heart and pursuing a career as a Wardrobe Stylist, Fashion Writer, Entrepreneur, Author, and ultimately a Fashion Creative Director. I also want to be able to influence, empower, and cater to women of color.

My'Til Style is a personal creative/style blog I created to share pieces of my life with the world. I want to be able to inspire women all over the world to embrace themselves and feel beautiful in their own skin. The main purpose of my blog is to allow me to showcase my eye for fashion and to help women of all ages, shapes, and sizes to embrace their inner beauty; because that is what matters the most! I have always wanted to blog but I've always been so consumed with school so I was never able to. Fortunately, I have a little bit more time on my hands outside of school work. I have hopes that my blog will be my creative style outlet for me to take my mind off all the stress that school can cause.

I chose to name my blog "My'Til Style" which includes my first name because I wanted my blog to connect with my readers on a more personal level. By showcasing my own style, I want my readers to embrace their own personal style. I believe that a person's style can say a lot about them and you should always want to make a lasting impression. I think that everyone should always feel beautiful.  I also believe that it pays to be beautiful, but it shouldn't cost a fortune. I don't want the world to dictate to me its idea of what's beautiful and what's not. I will portray what I feel is beautiful. I believe everyone is beautiful and no one should ever feel otherwise.
